Philosophy
What is Psychotherapy?  Psychotherapy is a collaborative partnership between you and your psychotherapist that is designed and structured to be supportive, alleviate emotional pain, and promote growth and healing. The therapeutic relationship includes  a number of prescribed conditions, ground rules, and boundaries. This therapeutic framework provides a non-judgmental, safe, secure environment that allows for open and honest communication.
Modes of Psychotherapy: There are several different treatment modalities, which include individual, couple, family, and group. Each of these can be brief or long-term.
The benefits of psychotherapy are many, and often
include the resolution of the specific concerns that brought you into therapy. Some of these positive results include improved interpersonal relationships, lifting or easing of depression, lessening of anxiety, and increased insight and understanding of your thoughts, feelings and behavior which, in turn, lead to improved self-esteem and self-confidence.
